Yuriy and Oksana Shelkovyy

Oksana Ivanova-Shelkovyy and Yuriy Shelkovyy have earned their reputations as skillful, knowledgeable, and professional teachers who motivate students through every level of dance instruction. They are also active competitive dancers who represent Canada in the Professional category, at the most prestigious and hotly-contested dance competitions across North America. Oksana and Yuriy have amassed the following professional dance titles; with more to come:

• Canadian Professional 10 dance (Ballroom and Latin) Champions
• 6 times Canadian Representatives to the World Professional Dance Championships in Professional Division
• Canadian Professional International Standard Bronze Medalists
• Canadian National Professional Latin Finalists
• National and international adjudicators

As teachers as well as dancers, Oksana and Yuriy Shelkovvy know that constant training and practice is the key to success. This is why they train with some of the world’s most renowned, top-class dance coaches. They never cease working to improve their own skills; both as educators and dancers. It is this commitment to artistic excellence and ongoing learning that Oksana and Yuriy pass onto their students at Dance with Us Ottawa; no matter what the student’s age or skill level. Andre is very well known instructor in Ottawa’s dance community. More then 25 years of teaching brings his expertise and skills to the highest level.
